Trust

The most important element of Leadership is Trust. Everyone in the company must trust The Leader and the Leadership Team. To build this culture of Trust within the company, requires that the Leadership Team must trust each other. Many leaders have achieved their position by sometimes violating the trust of others in order to get ahead. In a high performance leadership team this cannot be allowed. Everyone has to know that what they say and do has the backing of the entire leadership team.

This starts by creating a set of Core Values that are shared by the Leadership Team. Everyone is first measured by, “do they fit” with the Core Values. As part of the EOS Process, the leadership team creates these Core Values together, assesses each other with regard to each person on the Leadership Team’s fit with those Core Values. This is a very powerful process and it builds the foundation for a trusting and open leadership team.
