SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, & Threats)
The SWOT is the first step in creating a marketing plan. It identifies your business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. From this you can create your value proposition, a list of issues to resolve, your primary and secondary market, and who the competition is and/or regulatory or other restriction to prevent you from succeeding.
